ADVOCACY

As the name implies, advocating on behalf of a quality urban environment is fundamental to the mission of the Design Advocacy Group.

We derive our advocacy positions based on consensus at our monthly open membership meetings and among the Steering Committee members.

In addition, DAG conducts regular public forums on important issues. DAG also provides expert testimony before government agencies, writes frequent letters to government agencies and to newspapers expressing its positions, publishes regularly in newspaper op-ed pages and was a primary contributor to “City Space,” a weekly column in the Philadelphia City Paper.
